ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract Submission Instructions

There are a limited number of spots for oral presentations. If not selected for oral presentation, you will automatically be considered for poster presentation. Oral presentations will generally be 15 min long and the speaker would participate in a panel question and answer session. Posters will be uploaded to the conference hosting site and should likely be limited to 30″W x 20″H (91cm x 61cm) in a pdf format to facilitate viewing on the computer.

SUBMIT ABSTRACT

SUBMITTING A NEW ABSTRACT

  • Log into the EasyChair Portal.
  • Select "New Submission" from the menu bar.
  • Choose the MCBIOS track.
  • Complete the requested information on the submission form.
  • Paste the title and abstract text, formatted as described below, into the appropriate boxes.
  • It is also recommended that you upload a copy of the abstract as well with the upload functionality.

ABSTRACT FORMAT

The Abstract should not exceed 300 words. Please minimize the use of abbreviations and do not cite references in the abstract. The abstract must include the following separate sections:

Background: the context and purpose of the study

Results: the main findings

Conclusions: a brief summary and potential implications

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

A registered author can submit multiple abstracts, as long as that author is the presenting author.

Manuscripts from high-quality abstracts accepted by the Conference have the opportunity for publication in one of the relevant Frontiers journals.
